I am a Frederick native. Nature is top priority in my perspective of the world. I try to honor our planet in all that I do. Using non toxic products with ethically sourced ingredients makes me feel more confident in keeping guests and myself healthy. I started my hair career in the first organic salon in the Frederick area. I've spent my whole career there thus far. I like to think of myself as a very well-rounded stylist. I have a strong art background and color is a passion. I started out in the beauty industry as a regional makeup artist in the tri-state area for about six years before going to cosmetology school. I have been licensed since 2008. I enjoy doing fashion color just as much as lived in multi-dimensional color. I feel extremely confident in all levels of cutting. I believe it's crucial to have good communication with my clients and consultation are always a must. Continued education is a big thing for me, and I enjoy teaching others as much as learning new techniques. My training ranges from Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, Simply Organic Beauty to name a few. I've been a part of multiple fashion shows including New York Fashion Week. I'm a certified curly hair specialist, taught by one of the leading educators in the field. I use the curl by curl technique. The color I use is absent of all toxic chemicals and covers gray hair completely. I enjoy doing a root touch up just as much as a complex project. All are welcome! Cancellation Policy
If you book your own appointment, a nonrefundable deposit is required for most services. It is a small % of the specific service cost. The deposit is for that day and time. It goes directly toward the total amount when the service is done on the day of the appointment.
Please be advised. I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment. Of course, I understand that life can create obstacles we can't avoid sometimes. Each situation will be evaluated fairly. For any color service over 2 hours, I charge a cancelation fee with the same requirements. Let's be respectful of each other's time.

Please do not depend on my reminders for your appointment rescheduling. Buy then, it's too late for me to fill that empty appointment slot, and a fee will be collected.
If you contact me about cancelations/or rescheduling for Tuesday, from 4pm Saturday to 9AM Tuesday morning, I will NOT be returning calls. You can text, but please don't expect me to respond until opening hours. That is my time off for rest and personal life.
If you are sick, please tell me as soon as you are feeling bad so I can help reschedule? Night before and day of are emergency only cancelations.
